Mahirap Ba?

Naykupo!!! It's my first day back on the job and everyone is already calling me attorney. Sabi ni Jamilton pag may tumawag daw ng ganon sayo dapat i-ow mo na yung title as if nakapasa ka na sa bar. So, with that it mind, whenever they call me attorney, I just smile at them and says "Sana magdilang anghel kayo". But nevertheless, parang lalo yata akong kinakabahan 'coz buong tao yata sa City Hall eh alam na kumuha ko ng exam. Sus.
.
Then, they would ask me "Mahirap ba ang bar?". My response would be, "Yes, it is difficult and I will never take the BAR again.
.
Looking back, the six-month review-examination period has been one of the hardest six-months of my life. Eventhough I graduated at the top of my class, there are still some lessons and laws that were new to me come review time. In fact, during the examination period, there are questions that I haven't got any idea on how to answer like a question in Political Law that asked "Who is the President of ICJ and what is his nationality?" or a question in Taxation that asked "What is Tax Pyramiding and what is its constitutional basis?". Moreover, if not for the examination in Criminal Law, I would have smiled more. Grabe. But nevertheless, I think I have given the BAR exam everything that I got. I just hope and pray and pray and pray that come March or April, my name is one of those included in the passers' list. Wish me luck and pray with me.

  4. tnx anony and sscr.

benok, i still have no idea what tax pyramiding is. my guess was that it is a case where a bigger tax is broken into smaller components so that the burden of paying it shifts to several taxpayers instead of one. just a guess.
