Panagbenga 2008 Float Parade Part 1

A million roses, mums, anthuriums, orchids, everlastings and other flowers were used in this year's Panagbenga Float Parade. There were more than thirty floats that participated in the parade and despite the rains, the revelrie and the festival continued.

Here are the first batch of floats (including GMA Kapuso Float with Richard Gutierrez, Jewel Mische and Iza Calzado on board) that I have taken on that Sunday event:

  1. Wow those floats are beautifully decorated with flowers. I now know why it is a month long. There are so many activities going on and it looked so much fun.

  6. @ r-yo - i believe some are imported lalo na yung mums kasi napakadami bulaklak talaga nagamit sa floats.

  17. @ rhodora - yup it rained but it was not really a heavy downpour. just enough rain to shower the flowers in the float so to speak.

    With the reflection of rain water on the pavement. Perfectly timed photos. :D
