Sports Activities in Boracay

You will never run-out of things to do in Boracay whether you are the laid-back type or the hyper kind. Island activities are truly impressive, apart from swimming and diving, water fun includes boat rides aplenty - in everything from a small banca, a paraw, to a Jet Ski , to full scale speedboat. You can windsurf, parasail, waterski, ride the banana boat or flying fish and much more.

On the shore, you can do wakeboarding (see pic above), play friscbee or do ball games like volleyball and catch. For the health buff, jogging and biking in the beach shore is a must while to those truly adventurous, kite boarding is fast gaining grounds. In fact, the last couple of years have made Boracay as a top kite board destination.

Here are some other activities you may enjoy in Boracay:

Paraw Sailing - Best at Sunset

Jogging - Best at Early Morning

Wind Surfing - Best during Strong Winds

Frisc Bee Games - Best at Anytime

Jet Skiing - I Love This One

Biking - Sand Traction is Awesome

Two Dudes Preparing to Kite Board

  14. Wonderful photos and you do show us a lot of activities. You do have a lot of excellent photos here. Really interesting to me, because we (hubby and I) were on our way there in the end of Jan 2005. First Malaysia 2 weeks and then Mindoro & Boracay for 8 weeks...

We had to cancel our already booked trip because we both got Pneumonia (what's the odds of that happening at the same time?) and it took us at least 6 months to recover. Then we went to Paraguay and Brazil instead in Nov-Dec.

We've been talking again about going there in the beginning of 2009, but I don't think we can make it. We got stuck with dentist appointments and now hubbys work as it seems. But you'll never know.... There is still some hope - and at least some day in the future :-)

  21. Wow. the ... umm... view is stunning! I saw some kite boarders on my recent trip to Atlantic Beach here. First time I'd seen it, but it seems to be gaining popularity. I have a few shots of it that I'll be putting up at some point.

And I love the angle you got of the jet skis!

But I'm really thinking that running, biking or frisbee might be the places to be!
