Jungle River Cruise

Probably the most exciting ride in Hong Kong Disneyland is the Jungle River Cruise. You will be taken on a guided boat cruise around the man-made lake where lots mechanized and life-like animals can be found from elephants to alligators and even piranhas. Also exciting are the views that includes waterfalls, lost civilization, amazons and fire-spewing volcanoes.

Located in the Adventureland Theme of Disneyland, the whole cruise will take you about fifteen minutes. This is a crowd-drawer so you need to fall-in line for your turn. You also have a choice between a Chinese-speaking or an English-speaking guide. Here are some shots I have taken of the cruise:

Statue on a Lost City

Huge Elephant

Gorillas on the Loose

Human Skulls on a Boat

Hippo Resting at the River

Tribesman's Beach

A Fiery End

More of Hong Kong Disneyland on my next posts.

i am not a Disneyland kind of gal...it's probably my aversion to anything cute including the Disney characters (lol). when i was a given a choice between Disneyland and Universal Studios, i didn't even think when i chose Universal Studios.:P

great shots---maybe, just maybe, one of these days, I'd find myself in HK Disneyland...who knows?:D

  20. Hi Norman! I remember my first trip to a Disney Park (Disneyland) in 1982 and the impression the Jungle River Cruise made! Amazing to see it now in Hong-Kong!!

Blogtrotter is anticipating the 4th of July fireworks; but in a different country... ;) Have a great weekend (or vacation, should you have that chance...)!

  25. The Jungle Cruise in Florida is always one of my favorites. Do they do jokes in the HK version? I'm not sure all of them would be as funny in literal translation, but I love the little one-liners and puns they use in Florida. Hilarious if you have a good boat captain. :)
