Selfie Sunday : Lauren of Pandelicious

Pandelicious in Hongcun, China

Kindhearted best describes Lauren aka Pandelicious. She describes herself as 10 percent Carrie Bradshaw and 90 percent Amelia Earhart. Her middle name is Epic. She likes to travel to random places on a whim. Her claim to fame is her quirky humor and ninja style cooking. When she’s in the city, she takes a cab with her high heeled shoes but when she’s in a far away province, she rides on the top load of a pimped out Jeep— while still wearing heels.

Lauren currently resides in Canada but frequents her homeland the Philippines where I got the chance to meet her in a trek up Pinatubo Mountain. A traveler with bubbly personality (and not to mention cute) will surely be a joy to travel with.

About the selfie photo above, Lauren narrates "I had a habit of stealing Dong's phone and taking selfies with it, While in Hongcun, Dong was being pressured by this lovely Chinese vendor to buy her skewered meat- and he kept saying "buyào" then as he saw me moseying over he suddenly said she will take~ and just one look at the smiling lady i really had to give in and and say okay only to pay 10RMB for a duck leg. After taking this pic and walking around for a few minutes, we saw the lady closing up shop and going home. That left a nice feeling."

  5. Lauren is such a cutee. Fun and adventure really come in different package for she seem fragile for outdoor adventures but knowing where she has been is just inspiring.

  6. @Vanessa For me its not the amount of places she went to but what counts is what she makes of her stay and that inspires me about her. How she lives it. And experiences :D

Thank you for the feature haha, i'm honored that you remember our awesome trek almost 2 years ago! Shame i didn't meet you again after that :D Also kilig naman the description, i don't really blog with any sense and most posts border on incoherent ramblings but i'm happy a few people are willing to risk an aneurysm to read about my narcissistic adventures. :P

    1. Hi Mhela, most of these vendors get their source of livelihood from tourists. Lauren gave that lady her quota for the day :)
