Zambales : Morning at Isla Magalawa

Magalawa Morning Silhoutte

William Blake's four-line metaphysical poem read "He who binds to himself a joy, Does the winged life destroy; But he who kisses the joy as it flies, Lives in Eternity's sunrise." This reminds me that I must not attempt to cling to a sublime experience, but rather to allow it to come and go with grace.

Watching sunrise is always a sublime experience and watching it from an island filled with extra-ordinary beauty makes it more divine. Here are photos of sunrise in Isla Magalawa:

Branching Out

Reaching Out of the Waters

Peaking Sun

Desolation

Sweet Sun

A New Day Has Begun

  8. Oh I remember your sun series before... I like sunset viewing as well but when I learn about sunrise viewing too, I find it hard which is better and stunning. They are almost equally amazing! I love all the photos. You chase the sunrise perfectly.

    1. Thanks Ian, I do love sunrise as much as I love sunset although medyo mahirap ng konti kasi you have to wake-up early just to catch the sun rise.
