Lyndsay Cabildo started as a fashion and lifestyle writer whom because of her love for traveling on a budget and telling stories created The Discount Travel blog. She believes however that her discount traveling need not compromise her looks, comfort, and style. 

Lyndsay left home in 2004 to work and travel, started backpacking in 2008 and went doing it on her own by 2010, learned a lot from being on the road. Yet, she claims that her journey is nowhere near the end but because of what it taught her, she wants to pay it forward by using her talent, heart, and her blogs to reach out when she can.

 

When asked about the photo above. Lynsay quipped, "Well, it was a great country. So quiet, diverse, and progressive. Yet, they preserved their culture and parts of their jungle that they share with Borneo. It would be great to be there when the palace is open to public though as the palace and the majestic mosques as well as the water village are the only places to go. The reality is, I've met an amazing friend in Kota Kinabalu and we travelled all the way to Brunei together. A very nice bloke, we have a photo together at that same place, spot, and day, so I thought this photo have so much memories behind."
