SILENCE NO MORE...

I just have to let it out. Nobody has the right to treat somebody like dirt. I resigned from one of my jobs but it was ugly. They accused me of being ungrateful and manipulative. But what can I do? I am no longer happy working for something that does not interest me. I don't think ill of others but I just pray to God to let them feel what they made me felt.

  2. i'm a firm believer in "what goes around comes around." when you treat people like dirt, someone would eventually treat you the same way.

why stay in a job that bores you? we're all on a quest to find what makes us happy, and our jobs play a significant role. give your former employer some time...then maybe one of these days, you can pay them a friendly visit. don't burn bridges.:D

  3. Like Luna, i believe that what goes around, comes around. Just this morning, i was absent from the office, and i learned that my bosses were irritated with no-money-in-their -accounts thing, and i heard from my mates that they were scolded and called stuffs like bobo, walang utak. It hurts to hear stuffs like those things, kung hindi lang nila kailangan ang pera they wouldn't stay working in my company I work with too. Ako din, pero i need a job, and i love my job...the bosses suck... they do...

  7. So long as you are happy with your decision, what they think matters little. But remember, word of mouth is a mighty equalizer.

  8. i agree with you kuya. pag nde kna happy sa work, why stay? kung hindi mo naman mabibigay ang lahat. mas ok na dun ksa work na talagang passion mo at maibibigay mo ang higit pa sa 100% ng iyong makakaya!

  9. No job, even if it is well paying and prestigious, is worth hanging on to if you are not happy. However, it is always good to leave graciously, if circumstances would allow it. Just save your "shit list" for later when you are in a position to kick asses LOL.

  15. I hope you will find a better job. Office politics are dirty. Been there and never like it. You can get stabbed many times in your back without you knowing it.

I wish you all the best in your next career. BTW, you still have your photography skills and travelling experience to help you out in the next career. Good Luck.

  22. I agree, it's not worth doing something you don't believe in. It's good that you resigned. Don't worry, you'll eventually find something better than your previous job.

  26. You made a good decision staying out of the job you're no longer happy working about. Sana hindi ka naman lang sana hinushagan.
I also have the same experience a lot of times, pero sige lang. In the long run, makikita pa rin naman kung ano yung totoo...

  28. I wish I could be as decisive as you. I've tried the PROs and CONs game, and still I couldn't decide which path to take.

I agree with you... so little time, so much to do, at ang hirap mag-budget ng oras!

Kaya go go go.

  33. Like Redlan, was so busy with Plurk as well. They might just be sourgraping. I know how it feels. But pain is temporary. A day later something or somebody will take their place and make your day.

A month ago I resigned from work too and for the same reason, I was not happy anymore.

All I can say is, we all have the right to be happy. Never allow them or someone to push you around.

  34. You've quit your job??? Well, CONGRATULATIONS!!! I always wanted to do that but I'm such a chicken shit. I mean, I hated my job for as long as I can remember but because it's my bread and butter and I have two growing kids and my hubby is not really that rich but I don't love him less for it...what choices do I have? Stick to my job and have a steady income or let my kids live a miserable life?

I guess you're still young and single, right? So no problem for you. Why get stuck with work you detest anyway???

Good luck! It will be fun (hehhehe, yeah, right!).

  37. Resignations leads to new opportunities. Don't look back, hayaan mo na sila. What's more important is that you've now pulled out the thorn in your side, and you're ready to move on. I wish you the best of luck! :)
