This is the first of a three part-post of my backpacking adventure in West Bataan. Two of my friends who reside in Balanga City invited me and few others on a trek amidst the mountain and beach scape of the western part of Bataan that include Bagac and Morong. It was a two-day trek that include camping in one of Bagac's scenic coves. Although, it is already rainy season, the thought of spending another few day in nature is just too irresistable. So, with my backpack and tent in tow, I headed to Balanga City which is the meeting place for the trek.

My Tent and a Hammock

all i can is ang ganda at ang sarap ng food...i`d been to bataan twice or trice ..near mt.samat ba un...hihih sori not so good in places..and memory gap narin....sarap ng pwesto ng tent mo ah...
ReplyDeleteMy kind of adventure. I've been to Mariveles twice. Pero hindi kame ganong nakapag ikot. Naalala ko that time nagpapabili pa kame ng Jollibee breakfast from Balanga. Not sure if may Jollibee na sa Mariveles.

ReplyDeletepagkatapos kumain ng tuyo at kamatis samahan ng sinangag, sabay pahinga sa duyan at mahimbing na matutulog sa simoy ng hangin dagat...yan ang pangarap ko, balang araw.
ReplyDeleteCans of sardines and corned beef, tuyo and eggs are some of the stuff we rely on after we have been in the field for a spell and our fresh food are gone. Those fieldwork days in Pinas were hard but a lot of fun - I truly missed them.
