Quezon : Borawan Camping Trip

Oman is an Island in Borawan
Borawan Beach is an affordable travel destination in the Province of Quezon and is about six to five hours away from Manila. Some claimed that Borawan is a blending of two popular places Boracay and Palawan, which I personally feel is an overstatement. I rather agree that Borawan came from the word "Bulawan" which means gold, for this beach showcases one of the best golden sunrise that this part of the country can offer.

So, with my ever reliable backpack and a tent in tow, we visited this popular destination in an off-season to enjoy the beach (my first beach trip of 2016) and bask in its glorious sunrise. Here are some pics:

Rock Formation and Closed Store

Sun of a Beach

Weekend Abode

Golden Sunrise

Calmness of the Morning

Lawstude and Tara Gumala

Pros -
a) Best sunrise.
b) Clean restroom.
c) Unlimited supply of fresh water.
d) Just a few minutes boat ride from Padre Burgos.
e) Camper-friendly.
f) Cheap.

Cons -
a) Jellyfish
b) Stray dogs
c) Not like Boracay. It's sand is not powdery white.
d) Not like Palawan. Thou it has rock formations, it doesn't have karst and will fail in comparison with that of Palawan.
e) Can get crowded easily.
f) No electricity.
