Palawan: Island and Beach Hopping in El Nido

A trip to El Nido would not be complete unless you visit some of its islands and beaches where each of them has their own appeal. And to make it easier, economical and more accessible for tourists to venture in these islands and beaches, the Local Government therein promulgated four tour packages to choose from. These tour packages will take you on a journey to explore a specific part of the islands surrounding El Nido. You will discover beautiful and preserved islands, clear water lagoons, white sand beaches, snorkeling sites and their hundred of fishes and coral species.

To put in a nutshell, the island hopping tours will introduce you to everything that makes El Nido such a tropical paradise. It definitely is a must-do while you spend your vacations here! 

For everyone's reference, here's a summary of tour packages available to date. Each tour has an estimated time of 8 hours and the fee includes sumptuous lunch at the beach. Cost of snorkling gears however are excluded but they are available for a minimal rental fee from your tour operators: 

TOUR A: 
Est Price Php 1,200.00 
Choose this is you want nice scenery and beaches. 
Places to visit include: Small & Big Lagoon, Simizu, Secret Lagoon, Payong-Payong, Seven Commando Beach 

TOUR B: 
Est Price Php 1,300.00 
Choose this is you want caves, sandbars, snorkling and a bit of hiking. 
Places to visit include: Pangalusian, Snake Island, Cudognon & Catedral Caves, Pinagbuytan Island 

TOUR C: 
Est Price Php 1,400.00 
Choose this is you want nice scenery and snorkling. 
Places to visit include: Hidden Beach, Tapiutan Beach, Star Beach, Matinloc Island, Helicopter Island  
TOUR D: 
Est Price Php 1,200.00 
Choose this is you want deserted beaches and coves because not many tourists choose this. 
Places to visit include: Cadlao Lagoon, Balinaod, Pasandigan Beach, Napnap Beach Bukal Beach 

Or you could book for private tours and explore on your own. This will cost you from Php 4,000 to Php 6,000 depending on the agreed places to visit. Places in Tours A to C can be visited in one day or you could just opt to relax in one of the beaches and move at your own phase. Enjoy El Nido... I sure did!
