Cabanatuan City's Very Own Delectable Treats

I have been away from my hometown for about half a year now and this Holiday break gave me the opportunity to enjoy some of Cabanatuan's goodies that I really missed so much. These are simple gastronomic pleasures that can only be found in Cabanatuan.

Joey's Palabok
Joey's Snack House is Cabanatuan's answer to Pampanga's Razons. Although both establishments specialize in palabok, each differ on the way they are being prepared. Joey's palabok is made up of special kropek and pepper sauce topped with shrimp, boiled eggs, balingit or chicharon bulaklak and spring onions.

New Philippine Bank Notes Feature Top Tourist Spots

There is money in tourism... or shall I say there is tourism in money as the new Philippine bank notes feature some of the top tourist draws of our country. Historically, Philippine bank notes are often canvass of former presidents and national heroes with events and places showed at its back that depicts our country's unique history. But the latest issuance of these notes, although retaining the heroes and its colors, have something new to offer. These notes now feature some of the best tourist destinations of the country coupled with rare fauna species that can be found only in the Philippines.

The new P20 denomination will have a younger-looking Quezon at the front and pictures of the declaration of Filipino as a national language, and the Barasoain Church in Malolos, Bulacan. At the back, a picture of the Banaue Rice Terraces can be found, alongside an animal related to that area, the Palm Civet or most commonly known as the Musang.
