Ayan at the Holi Festival |
Independent. Free-spirit. Passionate. Self-Centered. Perpetually hard-headed. These words amply describe Ayan Villafuerte of that naughty-titled blog "That-Son-Of-The-Beach" where he shares his photos and narrates his back-packing stories from day-sleeping to day-tripping in the beaches of the Philippines and in the world.
But make no mistake about it, while the blog's title refers only to beaches, his blog offers more. Festivals, portraits, food trip, road trip, culture and even personal views about life, love and sex. And like most photo-travel blogger, he does not only maintain a travel blog but a photo blog, The Reluctant Photographer, as well.
When asked to describe the Selfie Photo above, Ayan quips "...Selfie taken at Holi Festival in Vrindavan. D*** I was all set and ready as I was fully made up. Lol" Myriad colors are simply facade of this festival where people from all corners of the world gather to feel the essence of Holi in the land of Krishna. Ayan was there to experience the fun as well as observe the love and devotion that the people of India put on for this festival.
Do check out his blogs above and be amazed by his wonderful photos and awe-inspiring travel narratives.
